About our Pastor

Pastor Ron Philpot

Pastor Ron Philpot moved to the Quad Cities from Muncie, Indiana.  He retired from the USAF, and has ministered in the Lutheran Social Services as a Manager of apartment complexes for the elderly and physically challenged.  He has also managed a Salvation Army Thrift Store in Muncie, as well as having experiences in sells at K-Mart and Sears. 

Northcrest Calvary Baptist Church called Pastor Ron in 1999, and during his tenure he has completed both  his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree through Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va.  His Bachelor’s degree is in Religious Education and his Masters is in Pastoral Counseling.

Northcrest is a Southern Baptist Church located in Moline, Illinois.  Located on the edge of two cities (Moline and East Moline) our Sunday School starts at 9:30 A.M. and our worship services are at 10:45 A.M. and 6:30 P.M.  Also on Sundays, we have Discipleship Training at 5:30 P.M.  During that time, we have some children’s ministries.  Presently our visitation time is on Tuesdays at 1 P.M. and our Wednesday Prayer meetings start at 6:30 P.M.

Pastor Ron and his wife Juanita met in 1970 and were married on September 3, 1970.  Juanita is the WMU leader for Northcrest Calvary Baptist.  They have two grown children, Ron Jr. and Rustina Hofacker.  Please pray for Pastor Ron and his wife Juanita as they continue to minister through God’s leadership, and as they strive to reach men, women and children for the cause of Christ.

Don Pace Music Ministry

Pastor Don Pace

The Rev Don Pace and his wife Sue minister through music and His Word.  Rev Don Pace has been called by God to preach the Word and both Don and Sue minister through music.  They minister wherever God calls, and often you can find them ministering to the residents of Health Care Centers and nursing homes.  Their mailing address is 54 41st Ave., apartment 814, East Moline, Illinois, 61244 and you can reach them via telephone at 309-764-3797 or e-mail:  dgrantpace@yahoo.com and alinapace@yahoo.com.
